Facebook teaches the folks at DVDFile how to tweet, and they like it. They really like it! DVDFile: The Next Generation

DVDFile is in the process of implementing some really exciting new additions, two of which involve the marvelous potential for interconnectivity and quick access that Facebook and Twitter provide. We're still staunch proponents of screening and enjoying movies on carefully-calibrated home theater systems - if you haven't yet heard David Lynch express his feelings toward people watching movies on handheld devices, do a search for 'David Lynch iPod' and enjoy his profantiy-laden video diatribe (we happen to agree with him) - but we've been offering daily news updates and some of the best DVD/BD reviews on the web for years now, and we want to make it easy for you to access them from whatever computer or phone or handheld device you prefer.

We're new to tweeting, but we're slowly getting the hang of it - our Twitter handle is DVDFile (http://twitter.com/DVDFile) - and we have a new Facebook DVDFile group where anyone who joins can chat with DVDFile contributors and argue with them on a range of subjects (we at DVDFile love to argue about movies almost as much as we like watching them).

So come on over and join us! We're going to be implementing some new features - including, to start, weekly podcasts and a boatload of new giveaways (who doesn't like free movies?) - so make sure to keep checking in with your favorite sunlight-deprived movie geeks at DVDFile in whatever capacity you'd like.
