Warner Home Video releases The Whole Shebang on July 26th for an SRP of only $19.97. From the official Warner press site, "Tragedy meets comedy when a bumbling yet passionate man travels to America from Italy to help save his family's firework business and all hell breaks loose. Family and loyalty, life and death, dreams and answered prayers . . . that's The Whole Shebang, a funny, heartwarming tale about a family steeped in tradition, where love is in the air and the sparks fly." The film stars Stanley Tucci, Bridget Fonda, Giancarlo Giannini, and Talia Shire. The presentation will be in anamorphic video and Dolby Digital 5.1. No indication of supplements.

Also from Warner Home Video comes The Jacket, to be released on June 21st. And again from the Warner press site, " . . . Adrien Brody stars as a Gulf War veteran wrongly accused of murder, and subsequently committed to a mental institution. A controversial treatment regimen sends him on a mind-bending journey into the future, where he can foresee his death - and must try to stop it." The film also stars Keira Knightley, Daniel Craig, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kelly Lynch, and Kris Kristofferson. Supplements will include: additional scenes; alternate endings; and, special effects and making of featurettes. The film will be shown in anamorphic video with Dolby Digital 5.1. Expect an SRP of $24.98.

And another title from Warner Home Video is Carried Away, due on June 14th. This is a tale of a small-town high school teacher caught up in a mid-life crisis, who embarks on a torrid affair with one of his students. Film enthusiasts familiar with the themes found in Lolita will recognize the genre. The film stars Amy Locane, Dennis Hopper, Gary Busey, Hal Holbrook, Julie Harris, and Amy Irving. Expect an audio commentary by director Bruno Barreto and actress Amy Irving. The film's theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 will be presented in anamorphic video and the audio in Dolby Surround 5.1. The SRP is only $19.97.
