As I mentioned in my review of Season One, Have Gun - Will Travel is arguably the best western series among a vast field of candidates to come out of '50s television. The Complete Second Season had been scheduled for February 10th and was then withdrawn. I'm pleased to report that Paramount Home Entertainment has put the second season collection back on its release schedule for May 10th. Six discs will contain 960 minutes of classic western adventure. I don't have the precise SRP, but I expect it to range from $45 to $50.

And talking about entertaining television, I'm never failed to be amused by Gilmore Girls, a clever, well-written, well-acted, and consistently charming show that embraces that ever-popular plot device of a town - and a series - populated exclusively with the quirky. Warner Home Video will release Gilmore Girls: The Complete Third Season on May 3rd. The six-disc set will offer twenty-two episodes and bonus features including deleted scenes, a documentary called All Grown Up, and a featurette entitled Who Wants to Fall in Love? Expect to spend 955 minutes to get through it all. The SRP will be $59.98

MGM Home Entertainment announces The Amityville Collection for release on April 5th. The set will include The Amityville Horror, the prequelAmityville II: The Possession, Amityville 3-D, and Amityville Confidential, a separate bonus disc featuring an all-new examination of the infamous haunted house. The SRP will be $39.96, and that's all I have on this release for now.
