Frankly Scarlett, I give a damn
Scarlett Johansson continues to accumulate a fine body of work. In A Love Song for Bobby Long she stars as Pursy Will, a young woman who inherits a New Orleans house from her estranged mother, only to find two semi-permanent residents, played by John Travolta and Gabriel Macht, spending their days smoking and drinking. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release this character study on April 19th in 1.85:1 anamorphic video and Dolby Digital 5.1. Supplements will include a commentary, deleted scenes, and a featurette. Expect a $26.96 suggested list price.

A week earlier Paramount Home Entertainment will release Suspect Zero in separate widescreen and full screen editions. Ben Kingsley, Aaron Eckhart, and Carrie-Anne are among the cast. The film is about a serial killer killing serial killers. A psychopath? A rogue agent? A vigilante? You'll have to watch to find out. The film is reported to have been composed for the 1.66:1 aspect ratio but protected for 1.33:1. Paramount hasn't yet revealed the aspect ratio we can expect on the widescreen DVD. The title will cost less than $20.
