'Catch That Kid,' 'Welcome to Mooseport'; 'Field of Dreams' SE; 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

Just in from Fox Home Entertainment, the studio will release Agent Cody Banks 2, er, Catch That Kid on June 1st. This special edition will include both 1.85 anamorphic widescreen and 4:3 full screen transfers, a Dolby Digital 5.1 track, an actor audio commentary, eight deleted scenes, the Academy Award nominated animated short "Scrat's Missing Adventure" and theatrical trailers. Retail will be $27.95. 
 
Up next is another super-speedy theatrical-to-DVD release for the Ray Romano bomb Welcome To Mooseport, which will hit shelves on May 25th. Available in separate anamorphic widescreen and 4:3 full screen releases, each includes a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track, audio commentary with director Donald Petrie, six deleted scenes with optional commentary, an outtake reel, theatrical trailers and a couple of easter eggs. Retail will also list for $27.95.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the baseball diamond, Universal Studios Home Video has announced yet another new version of the Phil Alden Robinson favorite Field of Dreams: Anniversary Edition. This Kevin Costner starrer will get yet another go-round on June 8th in separate widescreen and full screen versions, each a two-disc set with Dolby Digital and DTS surround tracks, plus an audio commentary with director Phil Alden Robinson and director of photography John Lindley, newly-discovered deleted scenes, the featurettes "From Father To Son: Passing Along The Pastime," "The Diamond In The Husks," "Galena Illinois Pinch Hits For Chisholm," "Minnesota (A Walk Through Moonlight Graham's Home Town)" and "A Look Inside Field Of Dreams," and the Bravo TV special "From Page To Screen: Field Of Dreams," and theatrical trailers. Retail will cost you $26.95.

Also due from Universal Studios is the direct-to-DVD release Gone Dark. This "riveting thriller" will hit DVD on June 1st, and features a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track, filmographies, production notes and theatrical trailer. List price will go for $26.95.

Rounding out today's news is yet another TV on DVD announcement from Warner Home Video, Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Second Season. This Emmy-winning Larry David hit will arrive in stores on June 15th and feature 4:3 full screen transfers, English, French and Spanish Dolby 2.0 stereo and subtitle tracks, and no extras. Retail will be $39.95.
