Get Play'd - 3:31pm
A surprise sleeper earlier this winter, the rap-dance You
Got Served will hit DVD on May 18th from Columbia TriStar
Home Entertainment. This special edition will include an anamorphic
widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track, plus
an audio commentary with director Christopher B. Stokes and the
cast, an additional "Filmed Dance" commentary, the "Serve
It Up: The Making of You Got Served" and "Battle of
the Beat" featurettes, a "Dance Breakdown" multi-angle
study, and theatrical trailers. Retail will be $28.95.
Columbia TriStar has also announced a May 18th release for the
Sal Mineo catalog fave The Gene Krupa Story,
which will be remastered in its original 1.85:1 theatrical aspect
ratio and be anamorphically encoded, and also includes a Dolby
mono soundtrack and bonus trailers. List price will be $24.95.
Back to School - 3:31pm
On June 1st, New Line Home Entertainment will spotlight a quartet
of big comedy faves available for the first time on DVD. All newly
remastered in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 are

plus Head Above Water and National Lampoon's
Class Reunion (which also gets a DTS track). Extras are
slim - theatrical trailers only - and retail will cost you $19.95
a pop.
Also just in from New Line are the full and final specs for The
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, which will
hit DVD on May 25th (as if you didn't know). Check out the updated
press release for the full "Fact Sheet"
with all the details.
