Just in from Warner Home Video is their November lineup of new
catalog announcements. First up on November 4th are a quartet
of Bogart classics. Dark Passage, To
Have and To Have Not, They Drive by Night
and High Sierra are all presented in 1.37:1 full
screen and Dolby Digital mono, and the only extras are trailers.
Retail is $19.95 each.
Next up are three new new-to-DVD debuts, all due to hit stores
on November 18th: the romantic dramedy Prince Charming,
My House in Umbria and Second Nature,
starring Alec Baldwin. All are presented in 4:3 full frame except
My House in Umbria, which gets the anamorphic widescreen treatment
as well an audio commentary with director Richard Loncraine. There
are no other extras. Retail is $24.95 a pop.
Debuting
on November 25th is the latest standup special from Ellen
Dengeneres, Here and Now. Presented
in 4:3 full screen and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround, plus extra
behind-the-scenes footage. Retail is $19.95.

Rounding out today's news, it is the return of Dragnet... 2003
style. On November 11th, Universal Studios Home Video will release
Dragnet: Season One Collection. This three-disc
set includes all twelve first season episodes presented in 1.78:1
anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, and there are no
extras. Retail is $39.95.
