'Finding Nemo'; 'City of Ghosts'; new from Comedy Central
A fish called Nemo - 12:00am

This year's biggest box-office fish will be swimming to DVD on November 4th. Finding Nemo - which beat out The Matrixed Reloaded as 2003's top grosser so far - will benefit from Buena Vista Home Entertainment's biggest advertising campaign ever for a home video release. This latest Pixar wonder will get the two-disc treatment, which will include the anamorphic widescreen version on disc one and a 4:3 full screen "recomposed" version on the other, plus Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround EX tracks. Extras include more adult-themed extras such as a visual commentary with the filmmakers which includes additional branching material such as deleted scenes and recording sessions, the "Making Nemo" documentary, and a look at "The Art of Nemo" with extensive stills, starboards and concept art. More kid-friendly fun on disc two includes the "Exploring the Reef With Jean-Michael Cousteau" and "A Tour of Pixar Animation Studios" featurettes, the "Fish Encyclopedia," a "Fisharades" set-top game, the CGI-short film Knick Knack and a "Virtual Aquarium" feature that allows viewers to turn their TVs into fish tanks. Watch for the full press release soon, and retail will be $29.95.

Just announced from MGM Home Entertainment is the October 28th debut of the little-seen drama City of Ghosts, directed by and starring Matt Dillon. Presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround with English, French and Spanish subtitles, extras include a new audio commentary by Dillon, plus an interview with co-writer Barry Gifford and trailers. Make me laugh - 12:00am
