Fight club - 3:36pm

Just in from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment is their September 16th lineup of new and catalog releases. Leading the pack is the Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson comedy blockbuster Anger Management. Set for release in both anamorphic widescreen and full screen versions, each includes a English Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track plus an audio commentary with director Peter Segal and Sandler, the "My Buddy Jack" and "Skull Dummies" featurettes, deleted scenes, a blooper reel and trailers. Retail is $27.95.

Also set for release on the 19th is All I Want, a little-seen teen drama starring Elijah Wood, Mandy Moore and Franke Potente. Presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 surround, extras include trailers only. Retail is $27.95.

In a move only studio marketing executives understand, next we have new special edition reissues of the box office bombs Enigma and Enough, both directed by Michael Apted and the latter starring Jennifer Lopez. Why weren't these marginal titles not just released with all the extras the first time? Does anyone still care? Well, decide for yourself on the 19th. Each is presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby 5.1, and also include new audio commentaries with Apted, deleted scenes, and on Enough, multiple featurettes. Both also include trailers, and retail is $24.95 each.

Rounding out Columbia's September 19th lineup are three more catalog faves. Making their DVD debuts are the family flicks The Babysitter's Club and Rocket Gibraltar and Soap: The Complete First Season. All are presented in full screen and Dolby 2.0 surround (Soap is mono only). The flicks also included bonus trailers, while Soap has no extras sans brief episode synopses and airdate information. Retail is $19.95 for the family films and $39.95 for the Soap set.
