From Mars down to Earth on April 1st. This terrific concert
film captured David Bowie's final live performance as Ziggy Stardust
at the Hammersmith Odeon in London in 1973. The release will be
fully remastered and remixed in 5.1 Surround, with extras to be
announced. Retail is $34.95.
Fans of Pennebaker can also look forward to the first-ever DVD
release of the documentarian's look at the synth-pop pioneers
of Depeche Mode 101 later this year. The official Depeche
Mode website (www.depechemode.com) announced the release as forthcoming,
with specs to be announced. Stay tuned...
