Just in from Buena Vista Home Entertainment are the full specs
for the February 4th debut of the blockbuster comedy Sweet
Home Alabama. The Reese Witherspoon megahit will be presented
in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen with English and French 5.1 Dolby
surround tracks, and extras include an audio commentary by director
Andy Tennant, eight deleted scenes and an alternate ending, plus
the SHeDAISY music video. Retail is $29.95.

Yep, 2003 is certainly shaping up to be the year that the studios
are raiding their TV libraries with a vengeance, releasing any
show that has even the slightest bit of mass appeal. Just announced
from Fox Home Entertainment are NYPD Blue: The Complete First
Season on March 4th. This six-disc set features all 22 first
season episodes presented in 4:3 full screen and Dolby 2.0 surround,
with extras including audio commentaries on select episodes (participants
TBA) and two making-of featurettes. Retail is $59.95.
At long last for fans of Buffy crossovers, Fox will also release
Angel: The Complete First Season on February 11th. This
set comes even more fully loaded, with audio commentaries on select
episodes by series creator Joss Whedon and writers David Greenwalt
and Jane Espensonwith, plus four making-of featurettes, stills,
and more. Retail is also $59.95.

with the long-awaited debut of Six Feet Under: the Complete
First Season. This four-disc set is presented in 4:3 full
screen and 2.0 surround, with extras including audio commentary
on episodes 1 and 13, a deleted scene, a featurette on the making
of the opening sequence, cast and crew interviews, and episode
synopses. Retail is $99.95 and street date February 4th.
