Shelved Stallone - 1:31
Jackie Chan fans who just couldn't get enough action in this
month's The Tuxedo will get a chance to catch up on two of the
martial arts hero's best Hong Kong imports this Christmas. On
December 24th, Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment will release
Chan's Half a Loaf of Kung Fu and The Killer Meteors,
plus the Jet Li actioner Black Mask 2: City of Masks. Extras
are slim, with only trailers as extras, and retail is $24.95 for
the Chan titles, and $19.95 for Black Mask 2.
More action coming from Columbia this holiday season includes
the martial arts compilation The Art of Action, presented
in full frame and 2.0 stereo with bonus trailers as extras, and
the long-shelved Sylvester Stallone opus Eye See You (aka
D-Tox), from I Know What You Did Last Summer helmer Jim Gillespie.
Featuring both 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and full screen transfers
and English and French 5.1 surround tracks, extras include trailers
and production notes. Retail is $24.95.
Ooops! - 1:31am
In our October 1st update, we incorrectly listed the aspect ratio
of the upcoming MGM release of Secret Admirer as being
full frame only. The release will actually feature both 1.85:1
anamorphic widescreen and full screen transfers. We apologize
for the error.
