Austin Powers returns for his third go-round in the summer
mega-hit Goldmember, making its DVD debut on December 3rd.
The latest in New Line's Infinifilm series of souped-up interactive
DVD releases, this one is available in separate 2.35:1 anamorphic
widescreen and full screen versions, each featuring an English
5.1 Dolby Surround EX abd DTS 6.1 ES tracks, Infinifilm pop-up
menus, an audio commentary by director Jay Roach and Mike Myers,
the "World Of Austin Powers," "M:16 International
Men Of Mystery," "Fashion Vs. Fiction," "Disco
Fever" and "Visual Effects" featurettes, the "English,
English" fact subtitle track, deleted scenes, four music
videos ("Work It Out" by Beyonce, "Boys" by
Britney Spears, "Daddy Wasn't There" by Ming Tea and
"Hard Knock Life" by Dr. Evil and Mini-Me), theatrical
teasers and trailers, and ROM extras including the "Austin
Powers Revoice Studio," the original theatrical website and

Line will also release an Austin Powers three-pack featuring all
three Austin Powers adventures for $66.95.

More summer blockbuster action hits DVD on December 31st with
the Vin Diesel James Bond-lite of XXX. Columbia TriStar
Home Entertainment has announced the full specs for this one,
which will be released in separate 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen
and full screen versions. Each features a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround
track (no DTS option is provided), plus a host of extras including
audio commentary by director Rob Cohen, the new "A Filmmaker's
Diary" documentary, the featurettes "Diesel Powered",
"The GTO Is Back", "Designing The World Of XXX"
and "Building Speed: The Vehicles Of XXX," deleted scenes
with optional commentary, multi-angle deconstructions, a visual
effects demo, script-to-screen comparisons, the "Adrenaline"
music video by Gavin Rossdale, trailers, as well as ROM extras
to be announced. Retail is $27.95.
