Ever since Paramount began releasing The Original Series on DVD fans have been clamoring for more, and with the last two episodes of Kirk and crew's small-screen voyages just about due, isn't it about time for The Next Generation to finally make its digital debut? Previous Paramount "Coming Soon" inserts and the like have promised Next Gen episodes for months now, but nothing so far...until now? We received the last Original Series DVD the other day for review, and lo and behold, found a nifty little video promo for The Next Generation inside. Indicating a March 2002 debut, we heard word from Paramount that the current plan is to indeed release the first season on DVD by the end of March, though full specs and other details are not yet available. However, we're expecting to hear more in the coming couple of weeks, so stay tuned! The best you'll ever have - 12:14am What can I say about any movie called Orgazmo!? While not Trey Parker and Matt Stone's biggest hit (you'd have to go with South Park for that), their parody of the world of adult entertainment has it's own and ever-growing cult, but the flick has remained MIA on DVD forever now. But since the level of email demands it, we got an update from the creative team on the production of what promises to be an epic DVD, expected to arrive as a two-disc set from USA sometime in 2002. So, what can you Orgazmo fans expect? How's about behind the scenes footage, the original EPK, hundreds of stills, audition tapes, trailers including the original 16mm promo used to attract funding, and tons of easter eggs...and, oh yeah, three commentary tracks, and a new hour-long documentary including such cast and crew as Trey Parker, Matt Stone, Dian Bachar, Stan Sawicki, Andy Kemler, Robyn Raab, Ron "Porn Star" Jeremy, Chasey Lain, Masao Maki, Shayla LaVeaux, Farrell Timlake, Jason McHugh, Lloyd Kaufman, Jill Kelly, and "stunt cock" Marcus Vaughn. We also received a few candid shots of the DVD in progress, which you can check out in the beginning of our Orgazmo multimedia gallery, so enjoy, and we'll keep you posted with more info on the disc as the release date nears!
