Video: How Do the Discs Look?

The prints utilized for transfer here aren’t in great shape, but these 1.33:1 presentations are still pretty strong, considering their 16mm sources. Detail quality is never perfectly sharp, of course, and dirt and grime pop up more often than not, but even if these Loretta Young Show episodes don’t look marvelous, they nevertheless have a hazy retro feel to them.

Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?

These Dolby Digital 1.0 tracks are also relatively unrestored but still in keeping with the series. Dialogue is tinny, and music has a significantly limited presence in terms of fidelity, but for those knowing what they’re getting into with a set like this one, I doubt there will be any serious disappointment.
