Video: How Does the Disc Look?

Whore's Glory has a vivid feel to it, but unfortunately, this DVD edition doesn't do the movie any favors. Presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1, this anamorphic widescreen transfer is solid in terms of color accuracy and black levels, but detail quality is all over the map, and compression artifacting is a frequent offender. More could have been done here.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

This Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix is much more accomplished. There isn't a lot of use of surround channels, but elements like dialogue and effects are replicated cleanly and appropriately. Some of the louder, boomier sequences aren't as elegant in design as other, quieter scenes, but for the most part, Whore's Glory pretty much sounds like it should here.

English subtitles are included.
