Video: How Does the Disc Look?

This documentary appears in standard-def here with totally appropriate quality. This is a fly-on-the-wall documentary, so pristine David Lean visuals aren't exactly the number one order of business, but detail on this 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer is steady and clean, black levels are consistent, and color accuracy is appropriate and seemingly authentic throughout. Yeah, there are a couple instances of compression artifacting and banding to mention, but they're not enough to seriously detract from the experience the movie provides.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

The Russian Dolby Digital 2.0 track here is also exactly what you might expect. Dialogue comes through nicely, and while there isn't a wild exuberance to this mix, as far as capturing the original aim of the documentary goes, one could hardly ask for more.

English subtitles are included.
