Video: How Do the Discs Look?
These 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers are standard-grade. Detail quality is fairly strong, color accuracy is appropriate, and even if black levels fluctuate a bit, things remain inky for the most part. Compression artifacting is an issue, and aliasing pop up more often than I would have preferred, but for ten-year-old TV presentations, these are fine.
Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?
The Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks are similar in that they're not flashy, but they represent the show well. Dialogue is audible throughout, and music has a thin but evocative presence. For simple, average sound mixes, these presentations are perfectly acceptable.
English SDH subtitles are included.
