Video: How Do the Discs Look?
These 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers are distinctly low-brow - We Can Be Heroes is clearly designed to be a fly-on-the-wall mockumentary show. There are a few elements of compression artifacting and aliasing that need to be mentioned, but mostly, the show's lo-fi style shines through: colors are never wildly punchy, but they're consistent, and black levels and detail quality are steady throughout. For what it is, We Can Be Heroes looks fine here.
Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?
The Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks included on this set are similarly accomplished. Dialogue always comes through clearly, but there isn't all that much to these presentations - call them slight yet fully effective.
English SDH, French, and Spanish subtitles are included.
