Video: How Do the Discs Look?
Heavy Wolf Lake supergeeks might want to tone back expectations for these bad boys - while the 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers on this Complete Series set are by all means passable, they aren't without their issues. Macroblocking is definitely an issue, and color quality wavers a bit from sequence to sequence (and episode to episode). Black levels are relatively consistent, though, and detail - for standard-def - is pretty well-balanced.

Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?
Not a lot to report here - the Dolby Digital 2.0 mixes on this compilation seem to be authentic (the show never sounds stripped-down), but these are bare-bones tracks across the board. Dialogue, effects, atmospherics, music - everything here is distinctly straightforward, and therefore not all that nuanced. Do these mixes represent the show truly? Probably. Are they great tracks? Not really.
English SDH subtitles are also included.
