Video: How Do the Discs Look?

These Kidnap & Ransom episodes look pretty much just as they should. Presented in their original aspect ratio of 1.78:1, these anamorphic widescreen transfers showcase solid black levels, and distinct color accuracy (both saturated hues and flesh tones look authentic). The nausea-cam feel of the show keep any eye-popping detail quality at bay, but that appears to be the intent of the filmmakers here and not a misstep in terms of this DVD set's technical value.

Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?

The Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks on this TV-on-DVD set are passable, if not awe-inspiring. Dialogue is always audible, and the whiz-bang effects during the show's action sequences are well-defined and crisp. Music and atmospherics also appear naturally.

English SDH subtitles are included.
