Video: How Do the Discs Look?

These 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers get the job done, but they aren't exactly perfect. One can't miss the occasional ringing and banding that appears now and again, but aside from those hiccups, these presentations showcase strong detail quality (for standard-def), vivid color accuracy, and consistent black levels.

Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?

The Dolby Digital 2.0 mixes on this TV-on-DVD set are similar in quality to their video discmates. Dialogue is audible throughout, music comes through authentically - the show's sound design isn't exactly provocative, but it seems as though these DVDs represent The Crimson Petal and the White well.

English SDH subtitles are included.
