Video: How Do the Discs Look?
These 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfers are just about as simple as they come. Barely any technical savvy has been invested in the presentations here - detail quality is fair at best, color accuracy is sometimes strong but never fully reliable, and black levels never appear as inky as they should. For doc TV, these transfers get the job done, but they rarely do anything more than that.
Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?
The Dolby Digital 2.0 sound mixes are also straightforward and simple. Narration is clear, music sounds fine - for tracks as unambitious as these, the results are perhaps above-average, but not by much.
English SDH subtitles are included.
