Video: How Does the Disc Look?

Flight arrives on Blu-ray with absolutely pitch-perfect audio/video quality. First of all, this 2.40:1 1080p transfer is a marvel to behold. Color accuracy is wonderfully well-balanced, detail quality is sharp and punchy around every turn, and black levels start strong and stay that way throughout. Compression artifacting is a non-issue, banding and aliasing don't pop up - the movie itself has some potholes, but this presentation is top-notch.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

The DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix here is also pretty much perfect. Dynamic range is wonderfully panoramic, with high- and low-ends coming through with dizzying clarity. Dialogue is audible in all scenes, and surround channels really kick to life (especially during the movie's plane crash sequence). All told, this lossless presentation is exactly what it should be.

French, Spanish, and Portuguese Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mixes are included, as are English SDH, French, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles.
