Video: How Does the Disc Look?

Celeste and Jesse Forever looks marvelous on this 2.40:1 1080p transfer. The loveplay at hand is laughable, but in terms of visual quality, this presentation is top-notch: detail is sharp and vivid, color accuracy seems authentic and well-defined, and black levels are wonderfully vivid throughout. There are maybe a few instances where aliasing and banding are an issue, but for the most part, this rom-com looks just great.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

The DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix on the movie's BD is also wonderfully representative. Music cues come in a little loud, but dialogue is always audible, and this surround track has a nice, rich, enveloping quality to it. High- and low-ends are represented nicely, to boot, and atmospherics and effects are presented cleanly. Not perfect, but totally effective.

English SDH and French subtitles are included.
