Video: How Does the Disc Look?
House at the End of the Street has a cool, almost fantastic-looking feel to it, and this 2.40:1 1080p transfer serves the movie quite well, indeed. Color accuracy is vivid and well-balanced, detail is relatively sharp in every scene, and grain handling is especially accomplished, with the movie appearing with a well-worn glow that serves it marvelously. Not too shabby.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?
The DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix here also works sharply. The movie isn't afraid of creepy-crawly effects and atmospherics, and these are represented with full rigor on this lossless track. Dialogue is always audible, surrounds pop in nicely, fidelity is dynamic and well-controlled - all in all, this is a fine presentation.
English SDH and Spanish subtitles are included.
