Video: How Does the Disc Look?

Liberal Arts isn't a particularly beautiful movie, but it appears on Blu-ray in the form of a perfectly representative 2.35:1 1080p transfer. This presentation preserves the movie's color accuracy well, it sports wonderfully consistent black levels, and detail is excellently manifested, with every element of the movie's visual scope coming through with authentic punch. Artifacting is kept to a minimum, aliasing and banding are only infrequent offenders - as a whole, this is a sturdy, impressive transfer.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

The DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix included here is similarly effective. Dialogue sounds great, music comes through nicely - there isn't a whole lot of surround activity to mention, but when the channels open up, the effect is immersive. For a simple rom-com, this lossless track absolutely gets the job done.

English SDH and Spanish subtitles are included.
