Video: How Do the Discs Look?

The 1.78:1 1080p transfers here capture the show's consumer-grade camcorder sensibilities perfectly. Those expecting these Blu-ray Discs to sparkle with high-def sheen will be boundlessly disappointed, but there's no question as to these presentations' authenticity. Compression artifacting, aliasing, and banding are kept to a rewarding minimum, and while detail quality and color accuracy never completely wow, they nevertheless stay in keeping with the show's overall design steadily.

Audio: How Do the Discs Sound?

The same could be said for the lossless DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mixes included on this set. This is a front-heavy affair - with its mockumentary style, things stay pretty sedentary - but atmospherics creep into surround channels every now and again. There isn't a lot of purposeful, provocative intent on these mixes, but they seem to sound exactly as they were intended.

French DTS 5.1 and Spanish DTS 2.0 tracks are included, as are English SDH, French, and Spanish subtitles.
