Video: How Does the Disc Look?

Incredibly Ever After comes to high-def with a 2.35:1 1080p transfer that is actually quite strong. There are instances of aliasing and banding that definitely pop up a handful of times during the film's hundred-minute running time, but most of the time we're treating to lovely and supple color quality, detail that showcases textures near and far with crisp precision, and black levels that start sturdy and stay that way throughout. It's not a pitch-perfect presentation, but it'll definitely do.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

The Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track included here - in the movie's original Cantonese - also works like gangbusters. Incredibly Ever After has a surprisingly robust sound design to it - high- and low-ends get excellent workouts here. Fidelity is dynamic and well-defined across the board, surrounds kick in frequently, and the film's bubbly musical score has a rich and full feel to it that helps make this lossless track immersive and enveloping. Not bad at all.

English subtitles are included.
