Video: How Do the Discs Look?

Truth be told, these 1.78:1 1080p transfers look excellent. Magic City comes to Blu-ray with sharp detail quality, magnificently well-balanced color accuracy, and black levels that start inky and stay that way throughout. Compression artifacting isn't an issue, either, and slight instances of banding only become apparent every now and then. Really nice.

The Dolby TrueHD 5.1 mixes on this Complete First Season set also deliver the goods. Utilizing a pleasingly panoramic dynamic range, we're treated to clean, audible dialogue, robust music, and surrounds that truly get a nice workout - even in simply-setup scenes. Atmospherics are presented well, and high- and low-ends have been preserved accurately, too. Nice work across the board.

Spanish Dolby Digital 1.0 mixes are included, as are English SDH and Spanish subtitles.
