Video: How Does the Disc Look?

Luckily, you get to appreciate the ass-kicking in Maximum Conviction with excellent digital quality, thanks to the 1.78:1 1080p transfer here. Black levels are crisp and steady from start to finish, color accuracy seems organic and appropriate, and detail is punchy all around. There are maybe a couple moments that showcase some minor aliasing and banding, but for the most part, this is a fine presentation.

Audio: How Does the Disc Sound?

Maximum Conviction also sports a boomy Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix that works well. Some elements here are bullied around - music is especially guilty of this - but the effects and music that bombard the movie's action scenes have a clear presence to them, nonetheless. Surrounds burp to life often, fidelity is strong - you'll reach for your volume remote two or three times here, but this lossless mix is still pretty damned solid.

English SDH and Spanish subtitles are included.
