Video: How Does The Disc Look?
Well, I suppose they all can't be perfect. Marnie's 1.85:1 1080p transfer on this Masterpiece Collection is pretty much its nadir - the movie simply doesn't look all that great. Detail quality is all over the map - smear is prevalent - and black levels waver, as well. Grain handling on this disc is uneven, to boot. The movie's color palette seems well-represented enough, but after feasting on the technical wonders of some of these other Hitch classics in high-def, this Blu-ray presentation of Marnie is a defiant letdown.

Audio: How Does The Disc Sound?
The DTS-HD 1.0 Master Audio sound mix here, though is just fine. Dialogue is audible throughout, effects seem appropriately represented - Marnie may be a disappointment in terms of visual acuity, but the movie sure seems to sound like it should on this lossless presentation.
A French DTS 1.0 mix is included, as are English SDH and Spanish subtitles.
