Bootleg Cut premieres only on DVD on December 4, 2001. Personally overseen
by the film's Oscar-winning writer and director, this double disc, special
edition features more than 5 hours of added programming including a much
talked about extended version of the Academy Award and Golden Globe winning
film.
Almost Famous/Untitled - The Bootleg Cut features an insightful commentary
by
Cameron Crowe, who took home the "Best Screenplay"
honors at last year's Academy Awards; plus deleted scenes; a specially-created
featurette that includes never-before-seen footage, and much, more. To
complete the "bootleg" experience, the DVD package has been
designed to resemble a classic rock album from the 70's and includes an
exclusive 24 minute "Stillwater" CD featuring never before released

ALMOST FAMOUS SYNOPSIS
It's the opportunity of a lifetime when teenage reporter
William Miller lands an assignment from Rolling Stone magazine. Despite
