From The Weekly World News, January 7th, 2000:

"'Aliens from space will NOT use death rays or supersonic fighters to conquer the Earth, instead, they'll use TV to take over our minds!'

That is the unsettling conclusion of astrophysicist Dr. Roger Hupewell, a leading UFO expert. 'There are only a small number of Americans who don't own at least one television set, and even in third world countries like Iran, popular shows such as Baywatch, beamed in by satellite, could become vehicles for alien conquest,' he notes.

Dr. Hupewell believes there's only one way to foil the alien plot: 'Unplug your TV now -- and toss it out of the window!'"

Fact? Fiction? Severe Psychosis? Since 1961, when the INS discovered the presence of Aliens -- space aliens -- among us, it seems that for the inhabitants of the numerous planets and galaxies beyond the Milky Way, the big blue marble looms as a prime travel destination. Her range of cultures, terrains, species, and resources makes Mother Earth the logical choice for vacation, commerce, research ... and unfortunately, crime!

Time to call in the MEN IN BLACK...

They are the best kept secret in the universe. Working for a highly-funded yet unofficial government agency, K (Tommy Lee Jones) and J (Will Smith) are the Men in Black, providers of immigration services and regulators of all things alien on earth. They are our best, last, and only line of defense when close encounters get ugly. They work in secret...and dress in black!

Based on the popular Lowell Cunningham comic book series, director Barry Sonnenfeld, executive producer Steven Spielberg and stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones teamed up for the 1997 box-office smash Men In Black. Boasting Academy Award-winning special visual effects crafted by Industrial Light & Magic and make-up effects artist Rick Baker, the film was a crowd-pleasing blend of comedy, action and science fiction and one of the biggest box office hits of 1997 Now, Men In Black finally touches down on DVD, in one of the most long-awaited titles in the format's history...

On September 5th, 2000, Columbia TriStar Home Video will be launching the simultaneous worldwide release of no less than three DVD editions of Men In Black.
