27 January will bring the Disinformation Company release of 2012: Science or Superstition. Fox will release Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Season Four, Volume One on 31 March. Capitol/EMI has announced plans to release That Lucky Old Sun on 27 January. This collection of live performances by Brian Wilson that were captured as the Beach Boys singer toured for his latest album. Icarus Films has announced a 13 January release of Our Daily Bread. This critically acclaimed documentary about industrial food production will arrive with a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, a stereo track, an interview with director Nikolaus Geyrhalter, two stills galleries, and the director’s filmography. Final details have been announced for Shout! Factory’s 27 January DVD release of Blossom: Seasons One and Two. Final specs have been announced for Image Entertainment’s release of Ping Pong Playa on Blu-ray Disc on 6 January. This comedy starring Jimmy Tsai and Roger Fan will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 track. No bonuses will be included. SRP is $35.98.



















Paramount has announced a 6 January release of Dexter: The First Season on Blu-ray Disc. This acclaimed Showtime drama’s debut season will arrive with 1.78:1 1080p transfers, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 tracks, a pair of commentary tracks featuring various cast and crew members, and some BD-exclusive goodies: two featurettes, a podcast featuring star Michael C. High School Musical is coming to Blu-ray Disc from Buena Vista on 17 February. This franchise-starting hit will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a set of bonus features; but both the disc’s extras and audio specs have yet to be confirmed. SRP is $34.99.

Shout! Factory will release Mr. Mike’s Mondo Video on a 13 January DVD. Final specs have been announced for Fox’s 3 February Blu-ray Disc release of Little Miss Sunshine. This Oscar-winning comedy starring Alan Arkin and Steve Carell will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 track, a commentary by directors Jonathon Dayton and Valerie Faris, some deleted scenes, four featurettes, a stills gallery, a music video, and a promo for the film’s soundtrack. 20 January will bring the release of Chris Rock: Kill the Messenger from HBO.
