Lionsgate will release Stargate on Blu-ray Disc on 27 October. This Kurt Russell/James Spader actioner will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound mix, as well as a slate of bonuses from the film's DVD Special Edition, as well as three new featurettes, a trivia track and a blooper reel. SRP is $29.99.

13 October will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of Wolf from Sony. This Jack Nicholson/Michelle Pfeiffer thriller will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, though bonuses have yet to be confirmed. SRP is $24.95.

Warner release of March of the Penguins: Limited Edition Gift Set has been pushed back a week, from 27 October to 3 November. This new release of the acclaimed (and wildly popular) documentary film will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a new documentary, three featurettes and a plush toy. SRP is $39.92.

Sony has also announced a13 October Blu-ray Disc release of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. This Kenneth Branaugh adaptation of the monster tale will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix. Bonuses are TBD. SRP is $24.95.

The Craft is headed to Blu-ray Disc from Sony on 13 October, as well. This teenage witch story will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a director commentary track, deleted scenes (with optional commentary), and a making-of featurette. SRP is $24.95.
