 New Line/Warner will release Secondhand Lions on Blu-ray Disc on 1 December. This family favorite starring Robert Duvall and Michael Caine will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a director commentary, some featurettes, deleted scenes and trailers. SRP is $28.99. 20 October will bring the DVD special edition release of Planes, Trains and Automobiles from Paramount. This classic Steve Martin/John Candy comedy will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, three featurettes and a deleted scene. SRP is $14.99.
North American Motion Pictures will release Ghost Cat on DVD on 22 September. This Ellen Page horror flick will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 2.0 sound mix and a stills gallery. SRP is $26.99.
 Universal will release Away We Go on Blu-ray Disc on 29 September. This critically-maligned Sam Mendes comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary with Mendes and writers Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida, two featurettes and some BD-Live capability. SRP is $39.98.

Anchor Bay will release The Shortcut on DVD on 29 September. This horror/thriller starring Katrina Bowden and Andrew Seeley will arrive with a 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, a making-of featurette and the film's trailer. SRP is $26.97.
