 The Sony Blu-ray Disc release of This Is It has been postponed until early 2010. Originally slated for a pre-Christmas release, because the studio has extended the two-week run of the film in theatres, this final Michael Jackson picture won't find itself on high-definition until early next year. We'll keep you updated as final specs and bonus slates come our way.....

Lionsgate will release I Can Do Bad All By Myself on Blu-ray Disc on 12 January. This latest Tyler Perry film will arrive with a 1080p transfers, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and three featurettes. SRP is TBD. 
2 February will bring the Paramount Blu-ray Disc release of The Godfather and The Godfather Part II. These discs will be identical to the copies included on the Godfather Collection from last year, only without the critically-maligned third chapter included. SRP for each release is $34.98.
26 January will bring the Blu-ray Disc release of Whip It from Fox. This exceptional Drew Barrymore-directed flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and a set of bonuses that has yet to be determined. SRP is also TBD. We'll keep you updated....
