23 February will bring the Criterion DVD release of Howards End. This edition - a standard-def twin of this fall's amazing Blu-ray Disc - will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, featurettes, and the film's original trailer. SRP is $39.95.
Revanche will arrive on Blu-ray Disc from Criterion on 16 February. This Oscar-nominated Austrian thriller wil arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a handful of featurettes and the film's trailer. SRP is $39.95.
Max Ophuls' amazing Lola Montes will be released on Criterion Blu-ray on 16 February, as well. Featuring stunning performances from Peter Ustinov and Martine Carol, the film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, an LPCM mono sound mix, a commentary with Ophuls scholar Susan White, some featurettes, and the film's trailer. SRP is $39.95.
Director Steve McQueen's Hunger will also be released on Criterion Blu-ray on 16 February. This gritty political drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a set of featurettes, and the film's trailer. SRP is $39.95.
Make Room for Tomorrow is headed to DVD from Criterion on 23 February. This acclaimed Leo McCarey drama will arrive with a 1.33:1 transfer, a mono sound mix, and two featurettes. SRP is $29.95.
Eclipse Series 20: George Bernard Shaw on Film is also slated for a 23 February DVD release from Criterion. Featuring Major Barbara, Caesar and Cleopatra and Androcles and the Lion, this three-DVD set will arrive with 1.33:1 transfers and mono sound mixes. No bonuses will be included. SRP is $44.95.
