Sony has announced a 16 October Blu-ray release for A League of Their Own. This beloved Tom Hanks/Geena Davis baseball comedy/drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track, deleted scenes (with director intros), a featurette, and a music video. SRP is $19.99.

Looks like 23 October is the slated release date for The Early Films of Stanley Kubrick from Kino on Blu-ray. This edition (featuring Kubrick's first feature, Fear and Desire), will arrive with 1080p transfers, as well as three Kubrick short films (other bonuses and audio specs are TBD). SRP is also TBD.

Sony will release Hysteria on Blu-ray on 18 September. This period comedy starring Hugh Dancy will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track, some featurettes, and a set of deleted scenes. SRP is $45.99.

Oliver Films will release The Brain on Blu-ray on 30 October. This Jean-Paul Belmondo cult classic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) remain unconfirmed. SRP Is TBD.
