The Raid: Redemption gets a Blu-ray release date, and we have news of the cult classics Little Shop of Horrors (1986) and Mother's Day (1980) also coming soon to high-def....

Sony will release The Raid: Redemption on Blu-ray on 14 August. This bloody actioner from Gareth Evans will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track, a bunch of  featurettes, a TV show ad, and a slate of trailers. SRP is $35.99.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Warner will release Little Shop of Horrors on Blu-ray on 9 October. This Steve Martin musical will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses are unconfirmed (yet we know both a theatrical edition and a director's cut will be included). SRP is TBD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anchor Bay will unleash Mother's Day on Blu-ray on 4 September. This Troma horror cult favorite will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix, a commentary track, and two featurettes. SRP is TBD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well Go USA will release Cherry Bomb on Blu-ray on 10 July. This thriller starring Julin Jean will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) remain unconnfirmed. SRP is $24.98.
