Buena Vista announces full specs for their Blu-ray editions of Cinderella and John Carter, plus we have news of upcoming high-def editions of new Clive Owen and Jason Segel flicks....
Buena Vista has announced a 2 October Blu-ray release of Cinderella. This high-def debut of the beloved Disney animated film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound mix, an intro from Diane Disney Miller, Disney's Second Screen interactive feature, a bunch of featurettes, an animated short, and DisneyView mode, as well as some trailers. SRP is $39.99.
We also have early specs for Buena Vist'as 5 June Blu-ray debut of John Carter. This much-maligned sci-fi epic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD Master Audio sound mix, Disney's Second Screen interactive feature, deleted scenes (with optional commentary), a screen-specific audio commentary, a bunch of featurettes, and a blooper reel. SRP is $39.99.
Millennium Media will release Intruders on Blu-ray on 17 July. This mind-bending Clive Owen drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) remain unconfirmed. SRP is $29.99.
We also have early word that Paramount is readying a summer Blu-ray release for Jeff Who Lives at Home. No firm release date has been announced, but this Jason Segel/Ed Helms comedy will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix. We'll keep you updated as more info comes in.
