We still don't have a confirmed release date, but early info has been unveiled for Buena Vista's upcoming Blu-ray release of John Carter. This space epic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track, deleted scenes (with optional commentary), some featurettes, Disney's Second Screen interactive bonus, a gag reel, and some trailers. HBO is readying a 12 June Blu-ray release of Too Big to Fail. This high-profile drama starring Billy Crudup and Matthew Modine will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and a set of featurettes. SRP is $24.99.
Olive Films will release The Hangman on Blu-ray on 26 June. This Robert Taylor western directed by Michael Curtiz will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) remain unconfirmed. SRP is $29.95.
