The new Almodovar, a 3D animal documentary, and a DVD edition of the Stephen King miniseries Bag of Bones headline today's announcements....

We have final specs for Sony's DVD edition of Stephen King's Bag of Bones, headed to shelves on 13 March. The miniseries will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, and two featurettes. SRP is $26.99.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Warner will release Born to Be Wild on 3D Blu-ray on 17 April. This Morgan Freeman-narrated documentary will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and an unconfirmed set of bonuses. SRP is TBD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also have final specs for Anchor Bay's 31 January Blu-ray release of Texas Killing Fields. This Sam Worthington drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD Master Audio sound mix, and a commentary track. SRP is $29.99.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Pedro Almovodar film The Skin I Live In is headed to Blu-ray from Sony on 6 March. This acclaimed Antonio Banderas drama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, and a bunch of featurettes. SRP is $45.99.
