HBO is readying a 6 March Blu-ray release for Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season. This hugely popular new series' debut season will arrive with 1080p transfers, DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mixes, seven commentaries, character profiles, featurettes, and episode-by-episode guides that are BD-exclusive. Universal will release The Thing on Blu-ray on 31 January. This horror remake will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a commentary track, two featurettes, and some deleted scenes. SRP is $34.98.

Flatiron has announced a 24 January DVD release of The Confession. This Kiefer Sutherland actioner will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer and a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix. SRP is $19.95.

Lionsgate will release Borgia: Season One on DVD on 21 February. This bodice-ripping series' first go-round will arrive with anamorphic widescreen transfers, Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mixes, and a featurette. SRP is $39.98.
