Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Many of us at DVDFile are unsure as to whether it's too early to call Will Ferrell's most popular 2000s films classics, but one thing has been distinctly proven: Anchorman gets better - and more blissfully stupid - with each viewing. Yeah, we've all heard frat boys over-quote the thing (we all know what San Diego means in German, thank you), but Ferrell is an unabashedly likable centerpiece for this freakshow of a dumbass comedy, and where Talladega Nights and Old School are more uneven than they are outright funny, Anchorman is somehow consistent in its loopiness from start to finish. There's no story here, no development, no drive, but if you're in the right mood, lines like "Excuse me - is that Sex Panther you're wearing?" just might leave you howling.
