Buena Vista will release The Nightmare Before Christmas on 3D Blu-ray on 30 August. This new version of the hit Tim Burton musical will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, an interactive tour feature, some featurettes, two Burton short films, a commentary track, a set of deleted scenes, a stills gallery and a few trailers. Sony will release Muppets in Space on Blu-ray on 16 August. This modern Muppet hit will arrive with a 1080p transfer and a DTS-HD Master Audio sound mix, as well as an unconfirmed set of bonuses. SRP is $19.99.

Sony is also readying a 16 August Blu-ray release of The Muppets Take Manhattan. This third Muppet flick will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD Master Audio sound mix and a TBD set of bonuses. SRP is $19.99.

Kino will release David Holzman's Diary on Blu-ray on 16 August. This Jim McBride indie hit will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) are unconfirmed. SRP is $34.95.
