Ten supplements that every movie geek should experience
It has become more of an issue than ever with the continuing advance of streaming content onto home theater systems: What about bonus features?
Most casual movie-watchers could give a rip about the special features section of a DVD or Blu-ray - aside from the blooper reel on a Will Ferrell movie, they simply don't get all that much traffic. Even a prime contingent of card-carrying cineastes have trouble getting through entire commentary tracks.
Yet while we at DVDFile understand that a vast majority of supplements are fluff - and boy, is it a drag to slosh through them (good thing we like our jobs) - every once in a while, something will just knock us out. The advent of Blu-ray technology has opened doors to cooler, sleeker interactive goodies that have the very real potential to force geeks to lose hours (and sometimes days) of their lives, but ever since the LaserDisc format, there have been supplements worth investigating - and revisiting.
