Criterion's June Lineup

The Makioka Sisters is headed to Criterion Blu-ray on 14 June. This Kon Ichikawa melodrama will arrive with a 1080p transfer, an LPCM sound mix, and the film's trailer. SRP is $29.95.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Criterion will release Kiss Me Deadly on Blu-ray on 21 June. This Robert Aldrich film noir thriller will arrive with a 1080p transfer, an LPCM sound mix, a commentary track, some featurettes, an 'altered ending' and the film's trailer. SRP is $39.95.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The 1930 silent German film People on Sunday will be released on Criterion Blu-ray on 28 June. Directed by Robert Siodmak and Edgar G. Ulmer, the film will arrive with a 1080p transfer, two uncompressed scores, a documentary, and a featurette. SRP is $39.95.

Finally, 21 June will bring the Criterion DVD release of Eclipse Series 27: Raffaello Matarazzo's Runaway Melodramas. This four-film set - Chains, Tormento, Nobody's Children and The White Angel - will arrive with 1.33:1 transfers and mono sound mixes. SRP is $59.95.
