Fox has formally announced a 2 November Blu-ray release of The Sound of Music: Limited Edition Collector's Set. This Julie Andrews classic will arrive with a 1080p transfer, a DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound mix, a set of commentaries, an interactive Your Favorite Things track, a sing-along option, a collection of featurettes, stills galleries, trailers, a soundtrack disc, and some printed souvenirs. SRP is $89.99.

Magnolia will release Centurion on Blu-ray on 2 November. This actioner starring Michael Fassbender will arrive with a set of featurettes, outtakes, and a stills gallery. SRP is $29.98.

Sony will release Lake Placid 3 on DVD on 26 October. This straight-to-video sequel-to-a-sequel will arrive with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, a Dolby Digital 5.1 sound mix, but no bonus material. SRP is $24.96.

Platinum Disc will release Mega Piranha on Blu-ray on 12 October. This bad fish tale starring Tiffany (yes, that Tiffany) will arrive with a 1080p transfer, though audio specs and bonuses (if any) are still TBD. SRP is $11.99.
